The GLOW/BROS (Girls Leading Our World and Boys Respecting Others and Self) Northern Region 2016 camp will be held at a local university and consist of a three-day gender topics training for 35 college students from the university led by a local NGO.

The college students, in collaboration with 10 Peace Corps Volunteers and their respective counterparts, will then run a five-day camp for 60 middle-school aged students from 10 different communities.

This larger camp will educate students on the six goals of GLOW/BROS camps: 1) gender equality; 2) self-esteem, positive identity, and selfconfidence; 3) leadership; 4) healthy living; 5) aspiration and goal-setting; and 6) volunteerism.

This project has been designed to expand access to education for girls in Thailand as part of the Let Girls Learn Program. Learn more at letgirlslearn.peacecorps.gov.

Your contribution increases the impact of Mr. Wittmer, his fellow Peace Corps Volunteers, and their communities; and makes a brighter future possible for young women in Thailand.
