Area of the future outdoor sports complex.

Fit with knowledge is a project aimed at increasing gender equality so that all genders have an equal opportunity to increase their physical and mental health. In order to achieve this goal we would like to build an outdoor sports complex next to the local school. The only exercise equipment available to the people of Dolyna Rayon is very minimal, old and unsafe. It only includes heavy weights and is only utilized by males. By bringing sports equipment to Dolyna Rayon we will be offering an opportunity to female students so that they too can have access to sports equipment that meets their levels and needs. The sports complex will be made up of six different exercise machines that are multi-dimensional so that all fitness levels can use them. Each piece of equipment will focus on different muscle groups allowing a full body workout. The sports equipment will allow our PE teachers to create gender equal lessons that permit all genders an equal opportunity for fitness. Along with the construction of the sports complex our project will include a one week summer camp called S/HE (schools health experts). This summer camps main focus will be on gender equality and how it pertains to healthy lifestyles. The summer camp will empower the youth of Dolyna Rayon to challenge gender norms in their school, community and everyday life. We will also educate youth on various healthy lifestyle topics such as nutrition, food-safety, hand-washing practices, mental health, drug abuse, and sexual health.
