Moldova | Let Girls Learn | Gigabytes for Girls

A "co-working" space with 8 computers and a projector will be created by Women's Central Region for Business in Soroca at the Business Incubator. The primary focus of the project is create an environment for young girls to learn about business and career opportunities, specifically in the Information Technology field. The main activity will be a weekly GoGirlsIT club for training on several areas of technology, including coding for program and application development. The objective is to introduce technology to young girls and the opportunities that are available to them after high school in university studies, careers, and entrepreneurism. The community will contribute the co-working space and ongoing training sessions. The potential impact is young girls from the region of Soroca will pursue careers and businesses in the technology industry.
